Aortic Aria

We wanted to do this in a new and exciting way. Since sound is a basic prerequisite for diagnosing heart defects, either by listening with a stethoscope or using ultrasound, an opera aria really fits the theme. In addition, opera arias most often are about life and death, which marry well with the serious the theme of heart disease.

We rewrote the opera classic “La donna è mobile” lyrics to be about the importance of staying up to date when it comes to the heart, directed at healthcare professionals working with heart disease. A music video was filmed together with royal opera house baritone Helgi Reynisson, at södra teatern in Stockholm, Sweden.
