Brand look development

The brief: Two companies with their separate brands, Bioarctic and Eisai, have a drug together that fights the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. They needed help with how to communicate together, when they share a single voice. As well as develop a new logo for their new educational portal.
I wanted to take off from common ground from the countries of origin of both of these companies, Sweden and Japan. Which in this case was minimalism, neutrality and tranquility. I also wanted to create a look that promotes learning and that works well together with their shared product, which has it’s own brand guides.

In the end, the new brand feels like it’s inherited from both brands, which feel very different.
